This use case demonstrates capabilities of the 3D Image Analysis Software - Enterprise software. The 3D Image extension was used for analysing 3D MRI human brain scans. The goal was to measure brain volume. This information can be used for evaluating success of the treatment.
Please note that this is only a use case of previous real BurgSys's project. No input data can be provided for a demonstration purpose.
Description of the usecase
Using artificial intelligence algorithms with the original data and mask a model is trained.
This trained model is deployed to a server and used to automatically analyse medical data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Brain volumetry is increasingly being used in the clinical setting to assess brain volume changes.
This use case shows how 3D Image extension can be used to analyse MRI data. The 3D image is obtained from a Magnetic Resonance device, processed by the RapidMiner with the 3D Image extension and the output is a brain volume in voxels or ccm.
How it works
The MRI images are analyised based on labelled images by human expert. Based on this labels is created model. Then the model is applied on a new images.
